I just installed my Kenwood DNX7140 into my 2012 tC. I'd like to use the stock microphone that's already integrated into the around around the dome lights. I find the placement and quality is much better than the crappy mic that comes with the 7140. The mic wire on the 7140 just runs to a standard 3.5 mm jack. Has anyone found a way to splice into the stock mic wire and have it work with an aftermarket system?
