Default tC2 ipod help

Other than using an Aux cable to get my ipod working, is there a specific ipod to usb cable available get get my ipod to work? i have the basic pioneer unit and ive tried 3-4 different ipod cables with no luck. is there a specific pioneer ipod cable available?

nah, just the regular cable that comes with your ipod should work. it doesnt go by brands, is standard.

is it supposed to activate the second i plug it in? i plug my ipod in and nothing happens. i press the Ipod/Aux button and nothing happens..

The same thing happens to me except I have a zune. i figured it would at least charge my zune but no luck.

the screen on your ipod should popup with SCION on it. try plugging in a usb thumb drive into the usb port and see if that picks up. if it doesnt i would guess that the port probably has a loose connector with the headunit thus its the port that isnt working. i have read this happening to other owners and all they did was take it into the dealer and have them plug it in. good luck!

It is probably a faulty connection, has it ever worked and what generation Ipod do you have?

i just tried 4 different usb sticks and nothing happens. the AUX works just fine though. i guess my USB has been disconnected since day one cuz i cant get any usb/ipod cables to work for the life of me. oh well. and to answer the question above, i have a 5th gen ipod, a 2nd gen touch, and a classic.
