Default Wrapping Panels In Fabric, Can't Remove Speaker Vents

I am working on wrapping most of my interior panels with fabric and I am running into the issue of what to do over the speaker vents. The only vents that are removable are the tweeters. I can't find any break in the plastic or any way to remove the front and back vents. I don't want to put the fabric over them or else it will be muffled. Anyone have a workaround that will provide a clean look?

The only thing I can think of is extremely carefully cutting around the speaker vents and applying a little extra adhesive around the edges, but I feel like eventually the edge will become loose.

Did you find a solution? I painted my dash, and I want to do something on the door panels. I'm thinking of adding carpet along the bottom part of the doors.

I was just going to wrap over the speaker vents anyways. I can't imagine it will muffle them too much. I ended up scrapping the project anyways.

What about cutting a hole in the fabric over the speakers, and attaching real speaker grills over them. ???
It's too bad Toyota did such a crappie interior on the tC. I love the outside, but not the inside.
