little update just found out the car that hit me has no insurance woohooo the good news just keeps on coming so 500$ beater sounds about right

 

You had full insurance on the tC right?
Your insurance will cover the loss, you will just have to pay for the deductable... which on a totalled car wont be anything out of pocket... on the bright side you get to sue and make some extra cash off of it...

 

the cops found $10000 in cash so its not like they dont have any money haha but it still sucks that i have to now pin all this on my insurance

OP: ya man normally i dont expect someone running from the cops to have insurance, or a license for that matter lol. it sucks when youve gota go through your own insurance, but at least it was a police chase so you shouldnt really have to put up with near as much crap from the thieves we have to pay for insurance. it took me a whole year to get a check for my car when i got t-boned in the front from some punk kid running a red light

 

another great update cops put the car in one of their "secure" lots and went today to see about getting my stuff out of it and found out someone broke in shattered my back glass stole my $1000 subwoofer/box/amp in the back and tryed to take my radio and they dont have cameras were my car was parked....not the best week

 

Another claim for the insurance company, thats all. Get reciepts for the subs/amp/radio and show them to your insurance company. They will cover them too.

6 ft fence with barbed wire at the top, and someone hopped it, took your heavy box/subs/amp and went back over with them, and knew there were no cameras pointed at your car?

there are two lots the main lot and the back lot my car was in the back lot with no cameras idk how they managed to get it over the fence nor do i know if they cut the fence somewhere but i do know the owner has already agreed to reimburse me but i need to supply the receipt which idk if i have

 

ouchhhh. I always keep receipts around. Definitely an inside job, wether the owner is in on it or not...

 

He is agreeing to reimberse you so you don't sue him. If the set up was over $500, the police should investigate. They will find no cut fence, and no way of getting that stuff out except through the door. There may not be cameras on the back lot, but there probably is at the door that the guy had to go out with your stuff.

 

Find yourself an attorney asap, or else its going to become a big mess.

 

5 days later and police still havent located my battery that flew out during the reck haha

im gonna try and go scrap the car today is there anything anyone would like im gonna try and remove the top glass but idk how or any of that im gonna remove seats all panels that arent totaled carpets and whatever i see that looks like it could be usable

 

before i try to pull it would anyone be interested in the stock spoiler in magnet grey

 

Might aswell, it can be sanded and repainted.
