Nice, as for springs. I think you'll like Stechs. They are the lowest dropping springs and they aren't even that low.

I'm still on the fence with springs. I wanted to close the wheel gap for sure, but I don't want to compromise the stock struts & shocks either. Plus, I drive to California a lot and wanted the ride to still be comfortable.

It's an a/t, I know I know, I've been slowly regretting it, but I live in Las Vegas and it was the logical thing to do for my needs & it's better than my '08 Mazda 3. Anyways, here's the plan (it may take a while, so bear with me):

Completed Modifications:
- 8% Saint Gobain Tint
- LED License Plate Lights
- Matte Black Emblems

Future Modifications:

- Full Interior LED Swap
- 6K DDM Tuning HIDs
- Injen Cold Air Intake
- Tein S.Techs or Raceland Coilovers
- Klutch SL14 / Matte Black Work Emotion CR Ultimates / MSR 93 / Enkei Raijin
- Cusco Type OS Front Strut Bar
- RS Front Lip (Maybe)
- OEM Fog Lights @ 5K HIDs (Maybe)
- Dezod Turbo (Maybe)
- [Other random mods here]

02.15.13 - Signed the papers & got the keys.

03.18.13 - 8% Saint Gobain Tint

Just ordered this on Friday off Amazon (for $370 shipped) and received it on Saturday with standard shipping. :D Went to Fry's and got a dash kit and also a wiring harness for $50. A really great upgrade and installation was a breeze.

FINALLY!!
Dropped my car yesterday on Sportline Springs, they're still settling but its a 2 finger gap in the front and 3 finger gap in the back. My friend and I did the install ourselves and took us about 5 hours (never worked with suspension before so we took our time) and voila! The ride is so much smoother than I imagined; it's only a little stiffer than the OEM springs and is definitely more stable. Worth the $200 I spent, the couple of beers, and a lot of cussing. LOL

^ a LOT of cussing! We did mine, then my buddy's 350Z. Completely different. I'm not a fan. After a few times though, you will be able to do it on your own in about that time or less

Yeah, it was a lot of reading but when you have the right tools, everything is so much easier.

These springs are really worth it! I was debating between Sportlines and S.Techs but I'm so glad I chose the Sportlines. I pretty much followed these instructions from TRDSparks step by step. I used an impact gun to tighten the bolts that hold the strut to the rotor since I didn't have a torque wrench that reached up to 200 ft/lbs but definitely get a torque wrench that can at least do 100 ft/lbs to tighten all the other bolts to factory specs. And of course get spring compressors from Autozone or wherever.

Thanks a lot! She's getting there slowly!

if you have a torque wrench, you can actually take the whole strut, put it in the box that your springs came in, stand on the side of the strut, and hit the nut with the impact wrench. it will spin faster than the strut and the nut will come out. It is waaaaaaay quicker than spring compressors and it doesnt launch apart like I thought it would.

Putting on the new springs is easy, one person holds the top hat down once the whole thing is assembled and the other person just gets the nut on top threaded, even just a little. Then hit it with the impact wrench and its tight. Re-tighten with a ratchet once its in the car and all back together.

good luck!

I was thinking of just using the impact wrench on the strut but I read on a couple of forums that it was bad to use an impact wrench on the strut since it needed to be torqued... Well, whatever gets the job done!

Got my Tsudo S2 Catback installed yesterday. The install was a easy; besides the trying to get the original springs bolts to connect the mid pipe to the S pipe (had to go to lowes and find bolts that had the same thread pattern because the ones that came from Tsudo would've cross-threaded) and I used the original donut gasket like everyone said to do.

Other than that, THIS EXHAUST SOUNDS FREAKING AMAZING! Videos don't do it justice. The cabin drone is loud, but quiets down at highway speeds. All in all, I love it... paying the $340 for this was worth it right when my car started.

I know it doesn't do it justice but I'd like to hear the exhaust. I'm trying to figure out what to get for mine. I have a TRD exhaust right now, but I'd like to have something alittle louder and deeper tone.
