Hey, so I'm going to make my introduction short and quick or at least try. I was going to get a new car for the upcoming winter and just in general a good DD especially for Chicago. I went to my good old dealer from which we bought many Toyotas in the past. Originally, I was planning on getting a fully loaded Corolla S, but the new tC caught my interest. I never liked the tC because I have always looked at it as a "Civic" replacement.

Anywho, I impulsively asked if I could test drive it. The second he turned it on I asked is this stock because the note for a 4banger was better than I expected. As I was driving it, it slowly grew fond of it. However, they didn't have a black one so now I have to wait a week for my new 2012 tC to come because it just arrived at the dock.

I can't wait to get it and just playing around with it internally and externally. I know the tC isn't a replacement for what I am driving right now but for a DD and just a fun car I think that it will do exceptionally well.

 

Congrats I agree it's a great dd that's easy on the wallet and cheap to mod. I have a black 2011 and I love it post pics when you get it and check out my black mamba build.

sorry bud, but u might not be liked (at first) around these parts because u have the infamous "2nd reverse light"

but i'm not part of the crowd..so on my behalf

the 2012 model has 2 reverse lights

the 2011 model has 1 reverse light (even though there is a spot for two)

....i wonder if the 2013 model will have 3 reverse lights

 

I myself just bought a 2nd generation TC. Black is definitely the color to go. I guess this would be a good time to introduce myself. This is my first forum and I'm still getting a hang of it. Just thought I'd say hi!
