So my TC has the smart key where you can grip and door handle and the car unlocks as long as I have my smart key with me. But I noticed that my driver side door doesn't respond to either the handle or the door lock sensor on the handle as well. I can't really find anything online for any initial troubleshooting other than changing the modes with the fob which the car does respond to but hasn't changed anything.

All the functions work on the passengers side and the trunk.

Any ideas on what to start looking at?

I am still pretty new to the car admittedly but any advice will help

Update: After no replies and finding nothing online I took the door apart. I guess the previous owner disconnected the sensor from the handle so all I had to do was reconnect it. Why would someone disconnect it? Weird.
