Thanks beall.... Another few question for ya tc owners with the factory navigation , who makes the software? And does the sw support free HD or nonHD traffic feedback? There is so little info on scions website about the navigation ... Thanks guys

I just bought a 2014 tc and my navigation does not even work. The dealer didn't show me anything about the radio. When I push the map button it tells me I do not have this service. Any insight?

Hi torranosaurus.. Did the dealer order the car from Scion/Toyota for you as this it is noted as a factory install only option.. Or was the car off the lot and the dealer said they can install the option or did they claim it was already installed?

Also, did you look at the following online manuals?

It was on the lot and I bought it in the spot. No one showed me anything about the radio. My main question is do I need additional hardware or is my setup ready to go? I don't even have a users manual for the radio in the glove box.

My 2014 came with a thick user manual just for the radio. About 1 cm thick. Navigation is an add on you have to pay for. If u didn't discuss it it probably doesn't have it. I didn't bother with it because I have a galaxy note 2. So why would I pay for navigation in the car... I'd call your salesman and inquire rather then on here.
