2014 Scion tC issues
So I have a 2014 Scion tC. The ac has got a stale air smell and I have done everything you people on this site recommended like spraying cleaning in the middle ac vents and also putting A cabin air filter in. None of this has worked and my ac still smells stale, also now after spraying this crap in my ac vents in someone back flowed and dripped down in the radio head unit and center of the car which has in turn caused the Bluetooth system to not function properly and has also caused the interior some lights to not work. I have checked the dome light fuse, it is not blown and I am at a standing point on what to do next. Can anyone help me out with these issues???

Air fresher only covers up the problem. Check the A/C drain, underneath the car about center firewall. Unclog if blocked. Run water over the cowl air intake at base of windshield (outside). Clear water should run from drain. When drain is clear, pour a cup of laundry bleach into the intake. Only use the Recirculate setting on HVAC when you need max heat or max cooling. And try not to park under trees.

The ac drain isn't clogged, in fact when I sprayed the cleaner and water in the vents it all drained out of the drain hose and onto the ground.and it all came out clear. I never park under trees, my car is always parked in a garage while at home and under an awning at work so I'm unsure of what to do now. I do know that some of the water and cleaner dripped out of the vents and into the dash into the radio and somehow my interior cargo lights no longer work after this happened. Any suggestions on what could be the problem?? This is a 2014 Scion tC

Its in the glovebox area, behind the glovebox liner itself. It doesn't come standard with our cars for some reason, but you can fit a filter in there. I think my dealership installed one on one of my free oil changes.
