Just by looking at the shape the bumper goes in the headlight photo, perhaps it'll have an Evo-like front bumper with the funky headlight we see

 

if that happens, i may have to trade in my tC and get the new one, i absolutely love the look of the Evo

 

Hahaha I'm not really an Evo fan myself, and that might be a horrible guess, but anythings possible

Did you guys notice they're calling it 3rd gen? That's interesting.

 

If they are calling it 3rd gen, then that's insinuating that they want to do a total redesign. And no car company in their right mind would do a total redesign after just 3 years.

But hey, if they do, that just makes my car even more special. :D

 

Honda tends to do that. We've seen 3 redesigns of the Accord since 2003. That's about 1 every 3 years.

Originally, every Scion model was supposed to be redesigned every 3 years.

 

I think its actually great that Scion is redesigning the TC. Hell after the FRS took off, I think that they might just try that whole angry headlight look, but hope they don't go the route Hyundai did with fitting the Veloster front end on everything.

I don't think they are calling it 3rd gen. Whom ever posted the article on scionlife news section is calling it a 3rd gen. The official scion.ca site simply calls it the new 2014 tC.

 

wont see major changes imo, front end/headlights and probably tails.

it defiantly wont be rwd as people hope for, thats for the FRS, plus it'd raise the price point of the tC quite a bit, which is what they are trying not to do

 

I'm not really liking the headlights so far but, that may change when the rest of the vehicle is revealed. They kind of look cheap and out of place.

 

They remind me of the ones on the Mark X, which is a good thing.

 

I just bought my tC last month & this happens....

I was wondering what those lights looked like

 

its not a 3rd gen...

it does have a more aggressive styling than the current, but its basically the same car

tC2.5 (like the xB2 and xB2.5)

 

With that more aggressive styling I'd like to see some aggressive HP...maybe a supercharger option. Even a mild boost from factory would be kewl!
