Default 2015 Tc rain driving capabilities

I got a 2015 TC recently and wondering how y'all feel this drives in rain?

HEre in north Texas, we've had T-Storms and Tornado threats these past few days and it's been a journey getting my Tc out on these streets especially since I drive the 6 speed manual.
How are y'all keepin up with different kinds of weather including snow and ice?

I wanted to make a trip up north this Xmas and was wondering if I should have them factory sport tires replaced and have some backup winter ones too.

all season tires, I wouldn't have sport tires on a tc... we have like 160hp. 200k on my car not a single slip.

pirelli all p7 all season plus is all I use.

Tires are going to make the biggest impact on this. If your tires are rated to do well in the rain the car will be fine. Never had an issue driving hard with my Hankooks (first V12 Evo2's and now S1 Noble2's).
