Just got up my RS 8.0 tC yesterday and am loving it! I got it completely stock. Already bought a Pioneer AVIC-X940BT HU and backup camera to put in tomorrow. I'm gonna be getting the interior done in leather and getting a CAI soon also. I snapped a few pictures, go check them out! I know there are plenty of threads out there about this already, but feel free to throw in some ideas!

 

remove the black vinyl on the A pillar it'll look much better. I don't know why they put that crap on the pillar. As for the overall rs8.0 it's ok, I say that cause i still would rather have an rs5 out of all the rs tC's and I'm still not feeling the tC2 anyway.

I generally like the vinyl on the A pillars, from a far away profile view the TC2 likes like a Visor helmet which is what they were going for.

 

killer ride man! congratulations. how do you like the center exhaust? i need to see it in person before i can judge it. IMHO i would immediately tint the windows. it would look insane with the red.

keep the vinyl on there. i think it looks great on our cars.

Thanks everyone! I like the vinyl too. I want to tint the windows, but in NJ they're illegal to tint the front windows, and in my area people get pulled over all the time for that. I like the center exhaust a lot also. At first I did not know what to think of it, but I loved it once I saw it in person. It has a really nice sound to it also, I can hear it in the cabin even with my stereo on pretty loud, but it's nothing too crazy. And the body kit and shadows make it look lower than it really is, but it's a good enough drop for me.

Actually, can anyone recommend what products to get for me to wax my car? I just recently got into cars and don't know too much. It's a bit overwhelming with all the options I've seen through the forums.

 

The next accessory you should get is fog lights, then perhaps some HIDs.

 

Meguires is what i use for all car cleaning products

SmartWax is also good too

 

I went with Meguiar's. I got everything after I got off work, and got called back in right after, so I won't be doing anything until tomorrow afternoon haha.
