Anybody have coilovers??
Like the title says..Anybody on here with coilovers? I have only seen the Tein Basics and SuperStreets available for our cars. ETA on other brands?
I was going to order the Tein SuperStreets but I cant decide. Can anybody explain the pros/cons of a spring seat adjustable coilover vs a fully adjustable system?
Thanks

Are you racing or droping so low than you need camber? if not then you would be wasting your money getting the fully adjustable and all that jazz since you would most likely set it and forget it
No racing, just gonna dump it! Camber plates are a must. The Tein setup is only adjustable at the spring seat, where other coilovers adjust at the bottom and the spring seat is never touched.
I wasnt sure if adjusting from the bottom and NOT adjusting the preload and spring seat made for a lil better ride on the other style coilovers.

There will never be a coilover with a good ride when dumped. Just stick with the basics... Or wait for a cheaper coil like Raceland. I'm guessing that since you are going to dump it then it will be driven slowly and be babied (unless you like replacing body parts) and you would be wasting your money on a good race coil or even a high end coilover.

What all do you want to do to it? There's a turbo kit out and an exhaust, some springs, shifter bushings and *****, front engine mount and of course rims and more universal items, and window tint. There are enough things to tie you over though
I talked to stance multiple times on the phone,
Basically they said they had a lot going on with a new series of coilovers they're introducing and they haven't had time for much else, and not in the near future.
Stance already has the perfect coilovers for slamming the tC1 but I was really hoping they would get on the ball fast when the 2011 was released.
I guess I'll just have to wait it out

1. coilovers
2. Greddy or Tanabe exhaust
3. TMW Short Shifter
4. Short Ram Intake
5. Engine cover
I have tinted the windows 15% all the way around, thats the only thing I have done so far.
What about buying an evo2 muffler and going to an exhaust shop? My girlfriends civic was done for only like 250 with a muffler. Most places still aren't coming out with parts for our cars either cuz they have too much going on or they cant get there hands on one so it might be a while for greedy to come out with one. You can always call though and find out cuz I'm sure some others are interested as well
Not to get off topic,
The Greddy tC at sema had a (I'm guessing prototype) Greddy exhaust.

You can't see it real well but I'm looking into doing this with mine, only 3" to 4.5" tip apex'i N1. It looks pretty clean IMO and could be recreated pretty cheap

I'll have a proper review with sound clip up this weekend. Great exhaust, great guys, well worth the coin...every penny.
Got a reply from Raceland yesterday...
