Haha, I am not afraid to mess around with the car anymore. I have worked a lot on cars before and have screwed things up enough and fixed them to not worry about it anymore, I lost the fear of breaking things

Exhaust tip:

I have wanted a new exhaust tip for a while. The sound of the stock exhaust is fine for me but the tip really sucks. I was thinking about a black tip. Where could I get a black tip from though? I have looked around the internet and I don't understand inlet size and what will fit. Can anyone tell me where to get a black tip that will fit?

ya that's the only problem i have with CAI that's why I'm looking for a good short ram intake. I will probably get it just trying to figure out if i want intake or exhaust first.

I have decided to get a black exhaust tip on the car. I am going to get one with a 4" diameter. The stock exhaust really stinks on the RS because with the lip kit, it is practically invisible.

I have been told the inlet size does not matter because the shop will expand the pipe. I think what I am going to end up doing is buying a chrome one, using steel wool and high temp black gloss paint on it to make my own black tip. I can't find any I like so I might as well build one. I want one that is just round and plain. No angular cut tips.

I used some construction paper and tape to mockup what it would look like. (Actual tip would be a bit bigger)

I installed one of the redline goods door panels today. It is sloppy on the edge but I'm very happy with it. I like it much better than stock.

Thanks P. I did the drivers side today which came out better than the passenger side but I did not screw the window switches back into the switch cover all the way so they vibrate a lot with bass.

I have to take the door panel back off and screw it back in all the way which I will do soon. Other than that there are no rattles and it is all secure. I have to say, This mod was a pita to do but it was definitely worth it.

I used a dremel with a sander attachment on it to basically grind down the plastic welds and that was a bit cleaner than drilling them.

I know that will be cool haha

I found some headlight films for our car here: http://www.rvinyl.com/Headlight-Tint...n-tC-2012.html

I did this photoshop and I think the tinted headlights would look cool on the car. I might try it but I am not sure yet. Not my car in the photo.

I can imagine they would be hard to put on because of the curvature of the lights. If I got them I would pay the guy down the street who put films on my moms old car to do it. No way I could get them on myself lol.
