burning/cutting springs
#2
dude... bad idea is not even a word I want to use..
lets start with burning... first your springs lose its metal temp and might get brittle and break as you drive... two there is no way to measure the drop in the coils so you will be uneven and you know what that means..
cutting.. main thing is the srpings in your ride now are build and has the spring rate set for the full spring...meaning that your springs are built to handle the weight of the car, cutting them the spring will not be strong enough and you will be bouncing on that car like a milkshake machine... look at some ricers and see their cars bouncing... thats why...
