I use Meguiars and Chemical Guys. Really, there is no best company for anything, its pretty much all about preference. Check out autogeek.com for everything you ever could know about auto detailing.

Exactly!

I use supplies from a local professional detail supply shop. Nothing crazy, just a wash and wax soap and lots of micro fibers. I swear by Presta compounds though. Occasionally I will use Farleca G10 for final cut.

The carwash at the Valero.

Occasional wipe-down with Meguiars Quik-Detailer.

Bi-annual turtlewax after a good scrub-down.

A lot of the guys in my car club swear by this company, and the results haver been impressive.

It's a bit more of a high end product, but worth it.

Hah... a bit much for a cheap car. If I ever buy a Rolls Royce or a Buggati, I'll think about it.

LOL, yeah it is kind of high. I think the guys that buy the stuff usually buy the cheaper stuff that they sell. Just because the car is cheap doesn't mean it hast to look cheap.

Hand wax with turtle wax or meguiers. I go through the touchless Splash in dash drive thrus once a week. The wax keeps it easy to clean and keep shiny

I don't have the patience to wash AND wax so I use Meguires wax twice/year (before winter, beginning of spring) and maintain with Zipwax.

I only use Zotwave.com I use the Glosswave quick spray detailer every few days to give it a quick shine. Then triple-Z followed by the Final-Z every few months. People always ask me if my car is new and I say nope 6 years old. Zotwave even put up a few pics of my car on the pics & testimonails tab. I have the Red TC. You tell me if you think it looks 6 years old. I used lots of other products before I found zotwave and nothing made my car look like that.

does anyone have any suggestions on how to clean windows and dry them without leaving streaks?

or when cleaning the car and the sun comes out, starting to dry the water drops before you can wipe them...and it leaves small rings...are there any suggestions on getting though off?

I put Rain-X on all the glass. them no spots at any time.

For water and other spots, I spray some Meguiar's "Ultimate Quick Detailer" onto a rag and wipe them off. I got it either at Wal-Mart or AutoZone.

I use meguiars deep crystal car wash, for my rims I use meguiars wheel cleaner, I dry the car with a microfiber drying towel.. For wax I use auto magic hydro shine, works great.. I also put wheel protectant and the wheels and rims, it help to brake dust and dirt and a whole easier to clean the rims..
