Question

Thanks!

I got a quote for the front FiveAxis front lip for $391-- Full kit $1189 + tax. Price doesn't include paint either. Anybody planning to get this kit soon?

I am really tempted to get these. Thoughts?

I've contacted them a while ago. Unfortunately, they don't ship to Canada. But that is definitely a great price for you Americans ;)

When are you planning to pull the trigger?!

Finally received the quote.. they are much pricier that I thought at approx. $400 per wheel. When I'm ready and if I do go for these, it will likely be 18s.

Dan. Did you ever find out why the rear is lower than the front with the TRD springs? Did they installed it backwards (put fronts in the rear and vise versa)??

No I didn't. I don't think it's backwards -- the shop I went to is very well respected around here and the alignment all matched up.

I'm pretty sure the rear is a bit lower (not very noticeable btw) than the front for all lowering springs on the market (even the s-techs).

Perhaps the people with s-techs can shed some light??

What you going to be using that fine piece of equipment for?!

Also,
I have s-techs... and yes, the rear is lower than the front. Not much... but the rear had more gap than the front as stock.

Just for home videos ;) JK!

I am going on a trip soon so I thought this would be cool for any excursions we plan on doing such as zip lining, snorkelling, jet skiing etc.

Might even use it when we go for a run at Forks of the Credit like this video:

That looks immaculate! I have thought about buying one unpainted and sticker bombing it... but I am just going to wait and see if anyone comes out with a carbon fiber lip kit yet.

Wherever you buy it, it's going to come unpainted. Costs about 100-150 to get it painted.

Not much of a CF fan. I was shown the Descendant engine cover but it didn't click for me.

I really like the OEM/stock look

Oh I see, the descendant engine cover was from PasswordJDM I believe.

But I dig a clean tC myself.

How much is just the front lip?

I thought it only came in full package. If not I may reconsider getting these fog light covers

^ I've seen the pieces for sale separately somewhere online... As expensive as the kit is, the individual pieces add up to even more.

I understand, that's a given. But I'd still rather pay ~$450 for just the front since its the only one that actually stands out

Yes, I meant PJDM. It felt... cheaply made for me.

Front lip for me in CAD was $550 includes paint and taxes.
