Default Excessive Carpet Wear

Anyone else with floor mats have a hole where your heel would go below the clutch pedal? I'm guessing it's because the clutch pedal travel is so long that I have to lift up my heal and move my whole foot to clutch in all the way, and I guess 20000 miles of driving have had its toll on the floor mat.

Anyone else have issues with this? I'm thinking a solution similar to that of an aluminum dead-pedal but placing it where the hole is/where the heel would go.

no issues with the clutch spot, but the gas pedal is the worst. especially after i've put 50,000 miles with my heal pivoting there. i dont rest my left foot on its heal so its hardly touching the floor mat, but yes they never seem to last unless you barefoot it a lot

I would suggest to get the all weather mats. I had only driven 2k miles on my tC before I saw that it was wearing out quick.
