Two questions:
1 - is roadside assitance included in the regular warranty that the car comes with? Difficult to ascertain from the scion website.

2 - did anyone here purchase extended warranty? I didn't thinking that it's a Toyota, but apparenlty I can still buy it later before the regular warranty is up. The salesguy kept comparing it to CAA/AAA and how I would save money in the long run. I'm goingn to be putting 18-20k miles per year on my car. Any reccomenations, no one I know has ever purcahsed extended warranty on japanese cars.

 

I did on my xD and my tC2, they are worth it in the event anything goes wrong on the car.

oh and roadside is not included.

 

Well, I contacted Scion directly and roadside assitance is apparently included for the life of the standard warranty and after that you can purcahse a "membership" to retain the roadaside assitance. Don't know how much that costs. This is in Canada.

 

did you get a number to call in the event that you needed roadside assistance?

 

Yep, they sent it to me and it's also on the website (.ca)

 

Guess I got lucky. The dealership that I bought my 07 from gave me a limited lifetime warranty and the one I purchased my 11 from gave me a unlimited lifetime warranty.

If anything goes wrong, all I have to cover is a 100 dollar deductible
