thanks man. yea i know mine was supposed to be black friday then saturday. now i have to wait till i atleast get my calipers back. so maybe about tuesday..wednesday

 

So let me guess your going to paint the whole dash purple? Also what paint did you use? Or did you have someone paint it for you?

 

no not painting the dash purple lol.. thatd be too much. and yea i have someone doing all my painting for me. i tried to paint a few times.. key word:"TRIED" ha

Funny story.. Umm well I used the cleaner but not the paint. The calipers are going to be the same color as the cover.. Ha

Yea I just gave it to my buddy for his ecllipse. Turned out pretty good.

 

Damn the cover looks great, but you need to clean up some of the extras in the bay. All the extra/visible wires takes away from the cleanliness of the bay...

 

Thanks! And yea i tried looking at wear I can reroute the wires but I'm not sure. The guys that are doing my paint. Also do wire tucks so when I get everything put back together Ill see if they can do something about it.

 

Sorry if this was already mentioned but do you mind if I ask how much to tint your brake light housings? What's a fair price for this?

so how is the header treating you?

is it noticeably louder in the cabin?

any CELs?

 

i didnt compare prices around here but i paid $10 for the 3rd brake light and $50 for the tails. IMO that is a fair price but im not sure what anyone else would charge.

headers doing good. no leaks or anything. only sound difference is out the exhaust and from in the cabin its just slightly louder than stock. (but then again my bass is on constantly) CEL..yes. some have figured a way to take it off, but i havent got there yet. not sure if its the short ram or just the way the eliminator is pointed..

 

1.how about performance/mpg?



2.did u have a CEL with just the short ram intake?

any problems clearing the cusco bar?

 

1. performance did increase a little bit. mpg.. cant really tell because i speed everywhere i go.

2. no cel with the short ram. everything was fine until i installed the header
and no problems with clearing the strut bar. have a good 1"-1"1/2 of clearance

 

***UPDATE***

powder coated valve cover, strut bar brackets, calipers, and battery tie down. finished in illusion purple.





and finally got my new wheels installed.

Damn looks great so you powdercoated those parts. Nice. The rims look good 2 what are you lowered on? Also what size tires did you get?
