Do you have any problems with rubbing or anything?

In the front there is a little rub. Like when I'm going fast and hit a big dip or something but not to bad. Just rubs on the plastics is all. And the rears don't rub at all and that's due to a very good fender roll job.

Word on the street is you were looking for the LED in the mirror controls too. Did you ever figure out what size it is or how to disconnect / connect a new one?

This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 1024x768 and weights 207KB.

That's the LED ^

I was. I believe it was mightyp that actually told me. And I want to say it was a 5mm flat? I could never find one so I tried a 5mm led like the 3mm in our ac controls. But in the process of desoldering that led I messed it up. So I just added a led strip in there.. But on the back. Find the solder points. Desolder and solder a new one back in. Or just take that out and add an led strip in there.

So i'm planing to also get std r1 coilovers, I don't want my tires to be rubbing, I don't want to be having to pay for tires every couple of months, since there is no camber kit out(correct me if I'm wrong), how low do you think i can go without rubbing? I don't drive very fast at all and I always pay attention to pot holes and what not.

Are standard suspension coilovers designed for track use or for stance purposes (like ksports).

standard has two sets...the R1 and the R3

i believe R1 = street and R3 = track...Mamba should know better

mamba is staggered so theres no point of having the high end ones if the car is going to oversteer like crazy. and jtk2 is stretched and has rims so wide it cant be good for the track. I want coils that are good for tracking with the proper setup

There is a camber kit for the front that helps out a lot. But I'm dropped about 2.5 in the front with little rub and that's only because of my setup. I've never had the coil overs on the stock wheels so I cant say much. But you still should be able to go about 2 inches without any rubbing.

Justin is correct. R1=street and R3=track

The R3 would be a good choice for you then. Just because we decided to just use them for stance as nothing to do with them not being a good quality coilover which they are.

What about the rear wheels, do they tent to rub less than the fronts? Also when you lower your car are you supposed to lower all the same length?

Only the two front have to be the same length and the two backs have to be the same.

staggered = wide in the back = understeer like crazy! Not oversteer...

doubt its wheels...he did that more than once already...

people are usually set after going coil...

lip kit? i wouldnt put money on it....sound system? probably not....

so its probably performance....intake is check and headers.... exhaust not "large" enough maybe a bbk? maybe, but i'm going with boosted auto set up (turbo)
