Hey jtk2, this might be off topic, but I have been following your building and I have a question regarding your intake. I am looking into buying a intake for my ride but I am stuck between the Weapon-R SRI and decsendant CAI. I was wondering what your opinion on it is since you had the Weapon-R before the decsendant. Which one was louder, and if any torque was lost at low rpms.

Between the 2 there not much difference at all. As far as noise you can hear more from the cai especially when racing someone they can hear the cai a lot better. And as far as torque. The gains are so small you can't really justify which one gives you more. In my oppinion go with the cai. It looks better sounds better and col air is always better

 

Hey guys I'm rerouting my new battery to the back and was wondering what size wire our battery uses. Is it 2 gauge or 4 gauge?

 

companies always cheap out on wire gauges. im not sure what they are but when i saw our battery terminals connected to those string like wires i was like WTF

id go with 2

Hey man, legit work on this 2nd gen. You should really consider getting into contact with Chris at dressupbolts.com, i was his donor tc1 and he hooked me up with an 88 fastner kit plus some extra goodies for helping him lay the kit out. Maybe you can scout someone on the forums from Virginia and have them go up to Chris''s shop and orchestrate the whole donor car thing to benefit yourself for a hookup on a fastner kit.
