Default hello fellow tC2ers

I don't knoow if his is good news or bad news for you all. But I sold my tC2. I paid the rest of it off, and probably just going to wait and see what's up and coming for the car market. I have my eye on a few cars but not going to jump the gun quite yet. I will still lurk around and if you need any ?'s I will help out.

What didn't you like about it? To sell it off so soon, you must have disliked something about the car...what was it?

Lack of trd support, lack of aftermarket support. I know it is still fairly new, but toyota/scion could of done a better job. I had high hopes for the tC2 but not as much

If you don't mind me asking, what did you sell it for? Ballpark is good enough.

Yea its perfect timing in a way. Its summer time, kids and the grown ups want sporty cars.

I got rid of it last week.

I'm either going to get a cr-z, fiat 500 sport, or wait. I'm leaning toward the fiat 500 sport but no sure if they have a lease program yet.

I'm hoping toyota will come out with a 6 speed manual hybrid like the cr-z. Which I am hearing rumors about a prius coupe.

^for a guy that wanted to build a drag car, you switched over quick to economical cars. jus wait for a cheap used cr-z and swap a k series into it

^not going that route with swaps or anything. I'm not that much of a honda fan. But the crz a hybrid + 6 speed manual + plenty of aftermarket which is a win win.

If anything this is what I pan to do for my next car... lease ftw!!

Here is the one on the scion website with their pure lease.

http://www.scion.com/scionpurelease/

Due at signing it is $909
For is 36 months its only $259 a month.

Those are base figures, but depending on dealer, etc you can get it for cheaper or for more depending on your finances.

I might get another tC2 just going to lease it rather than finance. Also this will allow me to see what is out their. I am going to go to my local dealer and talk to them about their pure lease program. If I get another tC2, it will be @ the end of july and I plan t get a rarer color than mgm(magnetic gray metallic). Their are dozens in my area with that color. I would get blue .

I know what you are thinking. Wtf did you buy the car, get rid of it and get another lol. It is what it is.

Oh yea, when my lease is up I have 4 options.

1. Keep the car and extend the lease.
2. Buy the car for its depreciated value
3. Walk away
4. Get the same car different color or different year same model, or get a different car

I sold it for 17,6xx.xx. I could of raised the price, but it probably wouldn't of sold fast enough. I had about 8,xxx miles on it. Plus, due to the earthquake in japan, the retail actually went up due to hard to find parts or nearly non exisent parts.
