Here's a simple mod, Remove the A-Pillars. I did it on mine and I still love the look.

yeah get a SS. its worth the money. I'd even get the TRD quickshifter if I had the money for it. i think it's higher quality than the one supertek makes for sure, but both are cool products.

They're probably both about the same quality, it is just a milled piece of aluminum that changes the location of the shifter cable. I have the TRD myself, but that was the only thin available when I got the car.

Yeah I agree with russiankid, the trd and the supertek are very basic machined pieces. The only difference is the trd is painted red and superteks isn't. I installed the supertek and shifting feels much better than before. On trdsparks the supertek is like $80. Or at least it was when I got mine in July

Erm
Curious, is the black pillar paint or black vinyl? Never really considered removing it , or having it painted.

Its a vinyl piece, and your factory paint is underneath

I wonder if the TRD quickshifter outlasts the supertek shifter by a long time just because it's painted well. I used to have the supertek on my car and I sold it(the shifter).
They are basically the same thing though, they have the same exact function.

Tint the tails. Short shifter was a great mod in my TC1. Also had a custom weighted shift **** from doctor isotope who was a member her long time ago. Not sure if he still has a site or is on here though.

When people say it's a must do mod about the SS, they really mean it
I was reluctant at first too, but once i found a cheap SS and bushing option (supertek and TWM) I tried them on my car and I loved driving so much more. it makes a huge difference in shifting. you'll love it.

I did uninstall mine though because I wanted to be stock.
