Default Help wanted

I just recently fell in love with the 2010+ TC's and am starting my research part i have read through the wiki page and a few searches on here but wanted to know from you guys the owners what to look for. What is the best year/models/stock accessories in the car. I currently drive a 2002 Audi A4 1.8qt and want to trade in the AWD for gas milage. I'm hoping to find one with a few mods already done like wheels, tint, radio. I appreichate all suggestions and comments. I'm sorry this is a very noob post.

If im not mistaken, theres not much difference between mine and the 10 series. 10 series, I think, has 5 or more parts that illuminate and its a special edition color. But I have a touch screen radio, sun roof and a moon roof in the back. Absolutely love the hatch back. Kickin stock stereo.

No really, its not a problem. I have not had a single problem, he has an frs. Definitely wouldnt go back and change my car, have never been so happy with a car I owned. One thing I found amazing, didn't have to get the oil changed until 10,000 miles. Uses synthetic oil. It is a great car for decent price, unlike audi in my opinion an expensive car with more hassle.

my audi's heated seats take just as long as the car does to warm up though, so your not missing out. They came in a 6 speed right? That would be something new i would like to have. I will miss my turbo though, so easy to get horse power. Add exhuast 20hp, add intake 5hp, chip it 80hp, fuel injectors add another 30hp. pretty easy to get a a4 around 300hp

Yes, it dies come in 6 speed and you can easily turbo it also, I had a trd shifter put on and it made a drastic difference for the better. There are so many things available for the tc aftermarket. The audi sounds NICE though.

http://rockford.craigslist.org/cto/4259677820.html this is close to ideal, even though it is a older style. alot of nice expensive parts though

Yes! Mine did come with some tint, but wouldnt mind it darker. If im not mistaken, there is a trd edition of the 13 tc and it has nice rims that come with it, the one I saw was all black. Looked sharp too, but had cloth seats and im kinda really fond of my interior. Havent seen it in another one.

Absolutely love the hatchback, cant wait to get 1 10in speaker in a box back there. Again, cant stress enough how good the sound system is for being stock.

Here are the options i'd recommend (if you want to get installed from factory, which is going to be mad expensive btw):
TRD quickshifter
TRD exhaust
TRD springs
TRD sway bars (at least the rear one)

Am i missing anything?
The rest you could just buy aftermarket, or you can pass on the factory installed parts and just go full after market.
The intake you'll want aftermarket such as Injen or K&N (there are others)
Header you will want Dezod.
Exhaust you can do anything; Tsudo catback is simple, or Descendant if you can find a used one.
Get an aftermarket weighted shift **** if you want. TWM makes good ones. there are tons of cheaper options though.
Instead of the TRD springs you can get Tein springs or go full coilovers.
Aftermarket rims and better tires would be nice (for example a wider, lightweight rim with wide grippy tires).
There is also the Unichip to get once you have every bolt on there is haha.

there is just so much you can do before you go the turbo route. There are many other options, those were some things i thought of just now.

Where are you guys from? I want to tint my car's windows but the laws in my state basically make tinting illegal on my car (windshield and front windows cannot be tinted). that's basically the whole car!

I just wanted to ask because i do see a lot of tinted tCs around the forums here and was wondering if your state laws are more lenient with that stuff or something.

Some more info:
since TRD sways may be discontinued, just go buy the rear Eibach sway bar since its basically the same thing. or buy both if you have the money. just be warned the front is more prone to squeaking if you do not grease it enough. also use teflon tape around the surface where the polyurethane meets the metal bar. it will help with any squeaking issues. still use the grease.

Also to save money, instead of buying stuff from the dealer just look for used parts online. I was able to snag a TRD exhaust for $276 which is cheaper than most axlebacks.
I saw the TRD quickshifter for $100 online. I am going to be getting that eventually too. Supertek short shifter is a cheaper option - it is the same thing.
TWM short shifter is very different, is supposed to be much better but also costs a lot.
