I have a 2012 2g tC and when I hook my iPhone up with the iPod connect the radio would read iPod reading and then have stopped underneath it like this

IPOD READING
STOPPED

and I can't control the music with the headunit but my music will still play and It just's started to happen recently like this morning. How do I fix this?

 

Had that happen to me. Shutdown the phone and restarted. That seemed to fix it.
