So, most important question: manual or slushbox? All those details and you didn't touch on the most significant option in the car!
(I've had my white tC a bit over a week - I'm loving this car, and so glad to be back in a car with a real transmission!)

Is this a dealer installed option in the US or something? Your car is not supposed to be delivered without a radio....
They don't install the radio from the factory. I bought my car on a Thursday night, and they put in the radio on the following Saturday morning. I suppose I could have waited and picked up the car on Friday, but what fun is that?
They claim that the radio is not installed so that you can choose the radio you want, but I suspect it's to try and up-sell you to the premium head units.

Radio should be a port installed option. When I got my tC2, it had just rolled off the truck. Anti-ding stickers still on, plastic everywhere, antenna off, etc, etc. And the radio was installed.
Did you get to see it roll off the truck? That would of been awesome.. haha.
When i got mine i watched it roll off the truck they told me i had to wait an hour to drive it so the shop could look at it and put it in the inventory then 20 minutes after i drove it, it left their inventory LOL.....but the radio was already installed when it came off the truck.
