Default Just starting a "build"

I just got my tC2 in November. So far I've powder coated the stock rims (satin black), painted center caps and hood and trunk emblems (satin black). Debadged the tC emblem and painted calipers (blue to match interior). LED swapped the interior gauge cluster and HVAC controls, as well as clock window. 20% tint, added OEM rear lip spoiler. Painted tail-lights.

Also installed an Injen CAI, Eibach Sportline Springs and NurSpec Motor Mount.

I'd like to paint the side-mirror blinkers to match my tail-lights as well as get some removable tinted covers for my headlights.

So the theme of my build is black and cement with blue accents.

I wonder if the letters in the Scion emblem would look better blue instead of white...

how much was it to powdercoat your rims? a company by me in socal was asking 480 to do all of it the same day (bring in car, they take off the tires, clean the wheels, paint, put them back together and your ready to go). I wasnt sure if this was low or high?

Thanks

Dupli-Color Brake Caliper Kit works really well, just buy your own brush, or I used one of those foam brushes and you dont get any brush strokes.

I hate to sound stupid, but the title of this thread says “build”…
What did you build or make? All you have written about was what you have bolted on or parts that you have painted. Your car looks nice, but I don’t see anything that you’ve built. I’ve never considered painting as building… nor swapping out parts as building either. You are nowhere close to having re-built your car… What am I missing?

From what I gather reading other people's posts, when you customize your car with a theme it's referred to as a "build".

Build is also in quotations in the title for a reason.

I assure you I'm not under the impression I am actually *building* anything.

I'm sorry...stupid me again...I must have missed it...I don't have a good eye for art. I don't understand modern art...color is just not me.

So please help me out. Your theme is...?
