Heh. I guess I haven't been on in a while. I have those same wheels. Work Emotion CR Kai's. If you check my thread out, you can see what they look like with spacers (15mm front 25mm rear) and TRD springs.

I love my CR Kai's, however, I wish they made a forged version.

WTH! how come i ddnt saw you have CR-Kai's? i thought i was the 1st one. but anyways. so you have them spacers. how is it? and i have same, TRD springs. but planing to get coilovers in like january/febuary. and im hearing bad things about spacers. if i would get spacers just 15 front and back.
anyways. did you use a hub centric rings?

as long as you use hubcentric spacers, you are fine with any kind. I would follow 0IQ's set up, +15 front +25 rear.

Heh, I bought them back in May I think. I'm using the Ichiba V2's with hub centric rings. As long as you use the correct torque spec on the spacers and wheels, and make sure that they are hubcentric and not just putting all the load on the lugs, you should be fine.

I put some Loctite on the bolts attached to the hub, just to make sure they don't back out. Make sure to use something that can easily be taken off with hand tools. Otherwise, you'll strip threads.

At least once a week, I check the torque on the wheels and make sure the rings haven't shifted. Make a habit out of it. Better safe than sorry. I know a couple people that go AutoX with spacers. They just follow the guidelines and haven't gone wrong yet.

Edit: Yeah, I got the Works in at the end of May. I put them on the car June 2nd before I got the tune (Page 3 on my build thread). The spacer pictures are at the end of the thread somewhere. I think that's the last thing I did. You'll love 'em. The barely ever look like they are dirty (matte).

If I kept the Works on the car I'd keep the spacers on with a set of coilovers and would most likely have to roll fenders and refit the splash guards.

I actually ordered new wheels last month. They're coming freight from Japan so they won't be stateside for another 3 weeks or so. So, you may be the only one with the CR Kai's on a tC2 once I get some rubber mounted on the new wheels. The new wheels are 18" x 9.5" +43 offset. With the new size I won't be using the spacers.

The new wheels are Volk VR-G2's, in case you were wondering.

Hehe, yeah. Wheels aren't cheap. Especially, Works. Then, there's the cost of tires, new tire pressure sensors, balancing them, and finally mounting them.

Speaking of which, did you decide what tire you're going to wrap the Works in?
