Looks good! Where did you get your shocks from? Do you have a link? How much were they?

I have yet to order the shocks just got the quote back. Im ordering them through matrix motor sports at my Toyota dealship. Due to my limited knowledge on proformance parts my buddy there helps me out with everything. The quote from there is $1000 installed. I still have some shopping around, what do you think of the price. Anyone have any suggestion for the dash ... to much useless plastic need to class it up a bit.

Coil overs installed up here in Canada for 1000 bux would be hard to find... and i just replaced the springs so I would prefer not anyways.

Shocks won't be a problem at all to install...I'd venture to say they would be easier to install than the springs. The front will be the same process, but the rears should be very simple.

Did you get a price for just the shocks alone?

And please tell me how the throttle controller works for you!

The price was for front and rear installed.. I dont mess around with installing things my self lol. As far as the sprint boost I was skepticle at first but after i took out the a stock tc (was very unimpressed) my sales person tossed me the keys to his car I noticed a difference right away just gives you that "pop" when u hit the gas. Will it win you races lol no but sure makes the car more fun to drive.

That sounds about right. I'd jump right on one but I don't want to destroy my gas mileage. Any comments on that?

My first tank mostly hi way i hit 650km... I thought that was ok. Im sure it would only make a difference if you are punching it off the line all the time. The only thing that would top off the experience would be changing out that terrible stock clutch. I miss my Type S clutch

Sounds like you could use some cable/cage bushings. I hear that makes a large difference in shifting. I haven't really heard any complaints about the clutch though...

BUY coilovers and pay someone 60$ to install them instead of a dealer installing your springs

I only have things installed by the dealship just to be safe ... they already did my springs so there might as well do my shocks. I know its more exspensive but I just feel more confortable doing it that way. As far as the clutch im sure its fine, but my last clutch in my Type S had a very short throw and engaged very early in the throw and now its almost at the end. Just preference i guess.
amolozhaviy ... Have you done coilovers yet... How does it feel now?

As far as cable/bushings.. Ill be putting in the TWM short shift and busings kit in the spring. it will shorten my throw for shifting by 30%. The kit also switchs out the plastic reverse lever for a steel one. Just discovered Red Line goodies last night would love to see some pics of leather interiors with some Red Line products.

might i chime in on the spring/strut vs coil issue?

the price for springs AND struts vs a coilover kit...is roughly the same.

the good thing about getting struts since he got aftermarket springs in already...is now there are no more worries about the stock struts blowing out (which is a reason to just go with coilovers)

most people just get springs because its cheaper and easier...(and they forget about the costs of the struts and replacing them in the future).

since u already spent $ on the springs and are going in the right direction on getting struts too...then ur fine. the only thing u lose out is the ability to have them adjustable...which is a matter of preference. if ur happy with the drop ur springs give u and dont ever feel the need to change it (higher or lower)..then ur fine

...FWIW.... STDsuspension.com are canada based and have the R1 coilover kit for like...12k? on sale this month. you just need to e-mail them about it. they have another kit for racing too...not sure how much. the Team Hybrid (brown) tC2 has the STD R1 kit
