Need Some Advice!
Hey guys,
So I plan on making some upgrades on my 2013 tc in the near future.
My two objectives are to lower the car and upgrade its air intake. I am currently looking at the Takeda CAI Vs. the Injen, and Trd lowering springs. I am a 18 yr old with a relatively short budget, so nothing crazy, any help or advice???

Look in the classifieds section and buy used. There are plenty of barely used intakes and they all last about a million miles. Then buy some lowering springs that someone bought and then wanted to go lower and got coils.
You can probably do this for $250 or less. If you have a tc and your 18, this shouldn't be a problem for you.
Then Look up DIY videos on spring install. Scionedge.com has some great ones. Good luck!

i have the injen CAI, its also possible to make this kit into a SRI if you feel need the during the winter or concerned about the small chance of hydrolocking. In addition i had the had the Tein Lowering springs. the H tech's, if i could have done it over i would have bought the S techs. I eventually went lower with k sport coilovers. The TRD's are far too expensive for my liking. I would go with another brand other than TRD
