I kept mine under 4k for first 500 miles, then took a 200 mile cruise control trip. still kept under 4k, 1k went all out, but I dont hotrod my car really. I still drive it to like 3k rpm and shifting now, or 2.5k.

Just keep it under 4-5k shift at 2.5k - 3.0k and dont travel at one speed for too long, (i shouldnt of done cruise) but whatever i have 100k warranty. I am at 5.5k miles and i get 33mpg highway and 21city. So I assume nothing was damaged. Dont hotrod it though if thats what you want to do til 1k!!

Dont have too, but I think the stock/factory spoilers look Amazing on these cars. Definitely to me would bring it to life! good looking car. Does your car have mudflaps? I kind of see them if so. get a s2000 antenna from honda, like 20-30 bucks I paid. Looks better, short stubby one. (:

Yup, came with mud flaps. Im thinking about getting an RS8.0 spoiler, just not a fan of the oem one. Reminds me too much of this http://www.sport-cars.org/site_img/l...c-g6-gxp-2.jpg

Looking for a stubby, its it this one http://www.amazon.com/The-Stubby-Ant.../dp/B0073X8TIM ?

Just unscrew the old one and put this one on??

Thanks for the compliments.

Yep literally screw on and off.
I had the stock one for these photos on but yeah I like the side look with our spoilers. I think white looks better than my silver but I wanted the easiest color to maintain/scratches/dirt lol

Maybe on your pic, i think that blCk car looks retarded imho and our car looks nothing like that but I really dig the stock one on ours. I saw a rs8 on another color and didnt look very good. I am goin to take a pic for you right now my antenna so you know what to show them. I paid 30-40 I think but I get great signal and HD signals. You can probably get it online for like 10 bucks but I wanted it that same day so I simply drove to Honda dealership.

There was two options at dealership one smooth like mine and one like mine but had a wire like wrap spiraling down it, I chose smooth and works fine.

I also had rattling bad after 2-3k miles and did a few DIY type deals but kept rattling so I ordered that large amount of deadener and over excessively did it in doors and rear wheel wells.

Another thing before putting doors back together was apply deadener to certain spots on the plastic door panel itself and. Also a little bit between the door panel/ panel switch with window up down buttons

I can truly say I got rid of 100% of rattles on doors. Very very happy. 5lbs a door or so of deadener I assume I used.

Stock

I applied it to inside and outer skin of doors. Anywhere I could cover I did. People say its too much but dynomat says 25% of panels covered for reasonable but 100% for sound and rattles completely gone. It cut sound down a tone! And it's no longer tin can feeling

Also my car is warmer in winter from Insolation

This wasn't completed project but I kept the vapor barrier all I did was cut it open tape it up and used the hole to apply everything inside them I laid it back down and taped/sealed vapor barrier back.

I ordered one more kit going to sound deaden floor and rear hatch. Also my cars bass response in doors is awesome!! And again no rattles...

One more thing is consider hid's they work well in our factory housings.

Thanks for all your help!

I did like silver but almost every one in my family has a silver car. Parents have a silver grandprix gt and chev astro van. Grandparents have a silver CTS. So I wanted to be a bit different. I was torn between a white car and silver car for the same reason though. Easy to keep clean (compared to black lol) and easy to maintain.

The dealerships in town are closed until monday, but ill have to check out how much they want for a stubby antenna. Ive heard the venza stubby works also

HID's will be in the future, theres a lot of dark roads just out side of town, just trying to decide if I want to go 6000k all round or 3000k for the fogs.

Dynomat will probably be in the future as well. Just going to wait until spring hits because I dont feel like working out side this time of year hahaha

I paid 95 shipped for that link I posted

High quality stuff. Really good IMHO. I just used / covered everything because.. Well what else am I going to do with it all? I like it was fun doing it. Floor and rear hatch is next. Just waiting on next order they 2day aired it free for me.

Tip of advice do it when it's a little cooler out, gives you more time to finagle it around, if the stuff/ temp is hot it will be way more stickier/if you accidentally stick it and want it off it will probably be much harder I did it In 70* temp so I could pull the pieces off on accident if didnt set right which I did multiple times.

My hid is 8k for high low and fogs all way around.

Penguin, you didn't do the floor at all?

I'm surprised to see this is the first time I've seen sound deadening mentioned on the site - these cars offer quite a bit of road noise.

Not trying to sidetrack his thread

I ran out, ordered one batch and I used it for doors and wheel wells, heavily. Ordered a new box and its for floor and rear hatch. Yes our cars have pathetic deadening its like a half a sheet of paper long an about as thick as a single sheet of paper for deadening on our door.. One strip.. Nothing else.. Nothing anywhere else I've seen.

If you're not too concerned about getting after market accessories, eBay has a lot of stubby antennas for less than $10. Like you mentioned, just do a search for "stubby antenna venza" and you should get lots of options. I don't listen to the radio a lot, but the one that I purchased on eBay seems to get good reception.

you'd be pulled over immediately in my area with your plate covers. Maybe it's lax where your at, but gives reasonable cause to pull you other for other items.
