i have tried connecting a dvd player and reverse camera to the video cable,aux plug and it doesnt show any video even while the ebrake is up. could it be wiring problem or i have to have the kit for it to actually work? has anyone tried to connect a video player or reverse camera in the car?

 

video player work? cuz i swear i remember reading this awhile back that u can only have either the dvd player OR back up camera, not both

 

There is only one video RCA plug in the head unit... It's hard to say without knowing how it's hooked up.

 

My car didn't have the video input without the adapter. Just the 2 audio RCAs...

Can you post a pic of how you have everything plugged in?

I read thru your other posts and it doesn't sound like you have the video input adapter.

I'm on my phone, so I'm not going to look it up now, but if you go to wellesleyscion's or my build thread, you can find the adapter part number. Go to your dealer, give them the number and make sure they look in the supplemental parts system, not the regular parts system for it. I think it's like $30.

 

ill take a photo of mines 2night if it isnt busy at work. but i dont have the video adapter. on my hu it already has a video plug, so i order a video bypass to see if it works if it doesnt imma just have to get the video adapter
