Lol thanks for the welcomes, Its a long story as to why I bought a scion but, parts aren't as readily available for mods up here in Canada so for now I'm safe but I can see me being a little bit poorer after they realize that Canadians love modding too
number 1 rule: Never go to any car shows or meets lol
They will provoke you to spend more $$$ on your car and your inner ego, however little it may be, will still want to show something off at the next one.
Just buy '99 corolla and get rid of the scion now!
And it doesn't matter how poor or rich you are because every time you get paid on that joyful Thursday or Friday - you will be thinking how much cash is left after you pay your rent and what car stuff you can buy with it

don't like corollas, in my town being close to the Toyota plant that makes them there are just way too many, and I like being different lol but i'll also be in the market soon for a motorcycle too so that should keep my mods to a minimum for now
^ Listen to the new guy! I remember those first few weeks of owning my tC. "Oh no! Dont worry about me. I have too many other things to spend my money on to do much modding."
Enjoy the honeymoon, cdnguy1980. For as soon as the honeymoon is over, just like a wife, she'll take all your money!

and i dont even go to a car shows/meet, but this forum makes me mod my tc2 more and more... :D nyways, welcome...
Yes another cement owner!! Welcome!
all i have to do is spreadout my purchases, like only 1 major purchase a month and still spend time with her. so i go for sponsorships (something, if lucky, you can find at car meets) to get free stuff and then buy small thing every so often and a big purcahse once in a while. then when i get parts...i get her to help me install so we spend time together
she helped me paint my emblems, install my descendant intake, today she will help me paint my calipers, and she goes with me to car meets/sponsor's shops for test fits
