Look closely at the first pics. He masked it off. As long as you have wax on the car, rain-x on the windows & mirrors, do a nice masking job and spray thin accurate coats it will work just fine. The overspay if any, won't stick waxed surfaces.

never spray anything on your car!
just pull the painted cover off. start at the top and pull, you wont break anything its just clips holding it on. then there are 2 or 3 phillips head screws holding the turnsignal on. then just un clip the wiring harness and paint away my friend. super easy just do it right and it looks awesome

this is completely inaccurate never and i repeat never spray anything on your car it will stick to waxed surface and can seep through....

correct its 3 phillips on both sides and just pull the painted plastic pieces off they are tight but dont put a screw driver in to pry it off it will cut the plastic and mess it up

its cool I understand if you have the experience with stuff like this leaving on the car but with people who don't I don't advise to leave it on the car its too dangerous but like you I have left parts on my car to paint you just have to know what your doing and. How to fix it if you mess it up

Yeah, the pic fooled me though. I'm getting blind in my old age.
I figured maybe you had a nice airbrush gun or something. You can be very accurate with them.

Yeah you can see some and I do mean some light emit through the top of the light between the cover and light and thats about it. If I can replace the leds in the lights maybe the light will shine through.
