NightRider *update*rear debadge red parking lights and wheel question
a money pit is a 5,000 dollar boost to a motor engineered to be N/A.....engine swaps are done on the regular in honda, VW, and especially Toyota. 1500 for the supra motor.....it might take another 1000 or 2 to do the swap, much cheaper than boost....and the supra engine is already built to handle boost. And finally....it would be downright filthy
the supra is a straight six dual cam turbo'd and i thought there is some sort of mounting issue trying to put a rwd engin in a fwd car maybe im wrong hell never tryed it anyways here are some pics of the supra im gonna call that build black ninja and its getting blacked the ____ out once everything mech is good on it
im supposed to go sat or sunday to take a look at it and make my final decision

my girl has a MarkV gti and a good number in the vw forums swap out their turbo 4cyl for the vr6 six cylinder from the jettas. I don't have any personal experience with engine swaps, but apparently with a little metal fab. it's not too bad......but w/those pics, i do like the supra in and of itself. it'd be cool for someone to do a swap though.....i remember some company dropping a v8 Toyota Tundra engine in a second gen xB, so its def. feasible.
^biggest problem with all that is the fact that if a company does it they have the tools and experience to do it kinda like five axis tC 2 concept body kit (the red one) plus iv only done rust repair (metal patches) never done any other metal fab

^yea im just gonna stick with the gas mileage i get with the tC motor and keep my warranty and play with the supra but i did just find out when i get rims for the tC i can put the stock rims on the Supra same bolt pattern
went and looked at the car today the pictures of the exterior are a bit old the paint isnt in as nice of condition but from the looks of everything overall i like it he didnt have a battery in it so i couldnt start everything looked good clutch was still smooth as well as all 6 gears 1-5 and reverse
