Default NST pulley or sprint booster?

So I got my tax refund, and was thinking of getting the sprint booster, but was thinking I could actually pickup some horsepower with the NST pulley. For less money.

Any opinions?

Thanks

Also do you need to change the belt for this pulley?

Thanks,
Nick

So NST said the OEM belt works with this, just ordered the pulley.

@disaster06, you could do the install yourself. Its only 1 bolt. Just make sure to tighten to spec.

Just do it yourself man, There's one bolt holding it on. As said before, just torque it back to the correct spec. I have no idea why anyone would pay so much to install this

Has anyone done a DIY on it? I've seen where its located, but I thought I read someone had a pretty hard time getting the old pulley off.

If its just a matter of unbolting, sticking the new one on and using a torque wrench I'm down. I just don't want to get stuck halfway

And I don't know if a dealership would even consider it, would they? Wouldn't a pulley in a dealerships eyes void a warranty?

become friends with a tech and he might do it after hours for some coin or a case of beer....

FYI: i had some TSB work that was needed under warranty and while that was done the tech put in pulley and my header....

well if its not a factory part then it would void pulley and any consequential damage.

as i was always told....if you want it done right..do it yourself....if your not sure how to do it,i would research..bascially...yea its one bolt...but i think your gonna need a impact gun to make life easier, unless you have muscles and alot of time to break it loose.....or if your really good friends with a independent shop, they can do it within 15-20 mins depending,on how they go about doing the install...

others have different colors because of GB. ask them, NST, if they can still make one with different color.

so I did order the pulley, but since I have more left, what are peoples thoughts on the weapon-r throttle controller for way less in addition to the pulley and my AEM CAI? think it would be noticeable? I still dont have an exhaust, but they cost a bunch and I would rather save for Dezod's header before I got an exhaust
