Official list of the OG tC2 Owners Club!
I don't care who had theirs first, who was the first to mod, who was the first to break wind on the cloth seating, who was the first to drop that first McDonalds fry between the console and seat never to find it again, who was the first to crank the volume to that ridiculously annoy song that plays 32 times a day on the radio and drives you insane at how deeply embedded it is in their head, but you still can't stop singing it... I'm still the biggest OG... to me that is
^^X2!
You should start a thread with that theme… Something like – Original Mods and custom builds ONLY; bolt-on artists not welcome.
Someone who removes and replaces the head-unit and splices a few wires – Not welcome.
Someone who bolts on a shiny, new set of wheels – nice, but NOT welcome.
Someone who builds a custom subwoofer box and throws it into the back – Not welcome.
Someone who builds a custom contoured subwoofer box that mounts into the car – Welcome!
Someone who builds the first adjustable RUCA – Welcome!
Anyone who builds something custom for the tC2 – Welcome!

From reading 1stOne's threads/comments, the Toyota/Scion dealer he works for "owns" the tCs 1stOne is allowed to drive...
Did I miss something?
Bottom line, cars were his. The mods came because of his job.
Yes, you did. Here's the abridged, if somewhat less precise, answer. 1stOne leased his white tC just like any other consumer. At the time, he had a temp position with Scion Corporate in Canada. It was through that job he was given performance parts from TRD to test. He was later hired on full-time and eligible for Toyota employee discounts, so he got rid of his leased tC for one he could buy as a Toyota employee for less.
