No kidding. When I looked at the photos of the new tC, I thought they were joking with the design. Infact, very few pictures that I have seen thus far, really compliment the vehicle. However, when I saw it in person, the vehicle looked much better, I think mostly because the pictures have no depth perception, so you really don't get a concrete idea of what the car looks like.

Haha, I didn't realize that I'd done that until your response...but thanks for the shout out. Maybe, its just that I like that color so much I can't get it out of my mind.

Do we have a model number and official colors for the new tC G2 yet?

Default Available Body Colors

My dealership has yet to recieve notice on the model code. My manager "suggested" that it would be the same as the previous models (6220). As far as available colors are concerned we have a near monochromatic sceme.
The following colors will be offered: (I found this on cars.com)
Super White, Sizzling Crimson Mica, Nautical Blue Metallic, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Classic Silver Metallic, Cement, and of course Black.
Can anyone else confirm the model code #?????

I'm thinking more of the codes more like "ANT10" for the original tC and "NCP31" for the xB Classic, and "AZE151" for the xB2...

EDIT: Found 'em. ANT20 and NGJ12 seem to be the new vehicle codes.

I'm glad they kept CSM, but why bring back NBM? BRM is a much better color. They should have trashed that horrible Cement color and kept FM.

I'm excited to see the Cement. I think it'll be pretty cool. I still don't under stand why there are no bright colors. Red, yellow, blue. Something exciting. Instead we get dark blue, burgundy, and grey.

I think the cement color looks great! I would have liked to see a brilliant red in the mix.
I am excited to see what people can do with wraps, and additional paint jobs on that cement color.

Yeah, but why? I think sales would have been better a cross the board with better color options.
RS1 should have been a stock color. Our sponsor still has people asking for red tCs. 3, 4, and 5 are barely distinguishable from stock colors, so nothing really special there. And then 2 and 6 are barely distinguishable from each other.

I agree, they need to have brilliant red as a standard color. It does sort of make sense to have some colors be for release series.
How do you differentiate, which would be good as a release color, and what would be good for just a standard color?
Also, if you chose your perfect release color for the new tC, what would it be?

Yeah, some at least lighter colors across the board in the Scions would be good - they, for the most part, lean toward very dark, moody colors for the standard models.

As to what single color for the first release in the new series, maybe that Strawberry Fizz whatever that they used on the 5axis 2011 tC they have been showing around the country.

I like the strawberry fizz color too.

What do you think about the yellow on that XB truck you sent me the picture of? I think that color is awesome.

Well, I like that yellow, and I picture it as a great color for some cars, but I'm not sure how it would look on the new tC. MAYBE as a release model, but I'd really have to see it first to know it would actually work well.

(As you know I own a Polar White xB Classic, BUT if I had known that the Solar Yellow RS2 xB was coming out not long after I bought Vanilla, I'd actually have waited for the Solar Yellow box. )

I'll reserve my "final" judgement on the second gen tC for when I am able to see one in person... but as for now, from the pics I've seen of the interior & exterior... it doesn't exactly blow sunshine up my skirt. lol. The only thing I like about the new gen tC better than my 08 tC is that 6 spd manual trans. I'm feelin' a swap comin' on if I get my hands on one of those trans.. lol.

Green!

I'd also rather see the release series as a special package instead of just a "special" color. A nice lip kit, a few minor performance mods, and a couple interior mods.
