Default Operation Chicago: update> new OBX sports racing pedals

Since the LED tail lights was a bust, at least the OBX sports racing pedals was a hit!

It's impossible to find OBX for the 2011+ tC, but the 2008-2010 xB OEM OBX racing pedal will fit since it's the same size as the tC. These are almost discontinued, but I found a Toyota dealer in my area that had one left.

Yep. It's a perfect fit. You just remove the stock rubber cover and slide these on. Doesn't squeak like the stock rubber when your shoe presses on it.

I'm not sure on the part #. I told the parts rep if they had any xB OBX pedals and he did the search. But look at the last 2 pics. The part # is showing on the scion install sheet for both AT and MT.

You are welcome!! That's what this forum is all about. Helping one another!!
Follow the instruction about using soapy water and spray it on back of pedals and wiggle it until its on. Soapy water works wonders!
Oh yeah... I need matching dead pedal or similar. Hard for me to justify spending $30 on just that 1 piece.

I still have the pedal covers from my 05 tC. I'll have to try them out when I pick up my 2012 any day now.

Actual OBX measurements:

Clutch and brake pedals are both 2.50" x 2.00"
Gas pedal is 4.50" x 1.75"

I ordered one of these. I thing they're the same based off your measurements and brand; they don't have the part number posted though.

Total came out to be 31.75 shipped.

That's the same pic that TRD Sparks emailed me when I was talking to them about the pedals. They were asking $46 plus shipping so I went to my local dealer and got 20% off. But those will work. Measurements are the same.

I got the last one on the link above, but it looks like there is one more available from the same seller here:

Best of luck to the one who gets the last cheap set on the internet!
BTW, great find Chicagokid!

yeah dealers generally charge what they want sometimes. Sucks, but that's why u need to check in more than 1 place before you purchase. The toyota on capitol expressway in san jose quoted me 1000 on a TRD exhaust and 850 on a TRD intake hahahahaha. I went up the street to the toyota in milpitas and they quoted me the normal prices. Not to bad but I ended up buying my goodies through TRD sparks. I saved big time and installed the parts myself.

I just installed mine and they were a pita to fit; it took me about 30 minutes. I had to use a flathead to pull the edges out so they'd pop in, the soapy water does help but not as much as I hope it did haha
