Got a Flowmaster Exhaust on the way. Then Injen intake, can't decide between SRI or CAI

Those with CAI did you have to remove the wheel and unclipped fender liner to get filter in or did it just go through from the engine bay by the headlight?

I just went thru the Engine bay. just don't attach the Filter when you put it in. Attached it at the end from under the car.

So did you have to remove the plastic liner to Iinstall the filter? That's what I was asking, if I could just shove the filter through the engine bay

When I installed my Takeda you had to pull the liner back. Filter is too big to jam between battery and wheel well.

You ask for someone's help, but you don't read?

Don't put the filter on until after the tubes are attached. Then go from underneath and put the filter on. That plastic scrape plate is like two bolts to get to the end of the tube to put the filter on. You may leave your tire on the whole time.
