....so question, do you have plans to do a different grill like mesh or something custom? I saw this idea on a show where the dude made a mold of the grill out of wood than put a flat sheet of grill mesh and a wood block on top and ran over it w/ a car. When he pulled out the mesh and put it on the car it sat flush. Seems like with the concave-ness of the tc2 grill where emblem was, this would look awesome....and pretty easy to do. I'm dying to see someone try it.....

I just installed my ptuning plate relocation kit and it seems to me that it sticks out a bit far. is this normal?

I'm trying to find a way to have it sit closer to the bumper

my rhoplate lp sticks out ablmost an inch from the bumper. if u have access to the right tools, u could always cut some threads off but its normal to sit like that.

Having it stick out that far makes it obvious that it doesn't belong there. I'll go to ptuning one of these days and see what they can do about it.

Mine sits like what you showed on page 4. (The aerial view).

Maybe ill try tightening the bolt more, but when I put it on it was pretty tight.

Btw, do you have yours on the center hole?

I think that is what makes it seem more flush. The pic on page 4 looked like it was mounted on the center hole.

I won't bother with it until I get my new license plates.
