Just picked it up earlier today after trading in my 2009 tC.

I have a question about the "OEM" fog lights from trdsparks.com (for $100). Now, i have NO issue buying them and I will probably before the weekend is over. However, i've never actually done anything like this type of install...but it looks way to simple to even mess up. But i know looking at something and actually doing something can be two totally different things. Anybody else on here that installed there own fog lights that really wasn't sure what they were doing...but had a successful outcome?

OR if anyone is near long island, NY and has done it can help me out when it gets a little warmer out? Can't offer much but perhaps lunch or dinner & good conversation? lol

Thanks!

i got the OEM fogs for my tC actually just installed them last month and it was just so easy to do, just have to be patient, it took over an hour to do, you have to take off the front bumper and take out the radio just to plug in the fuse, but there are instructions of course and they're very helpful, they look like they came from toyota, you could never tell the difference, so happy i got them for $100 instead of wasting the $340 from the dealer

I actually managed to install mine without removing the bumper. Haha I'm no mechanic but the hardest part of the install for me was getting my arm in between the skid plate and bumper (I have big forearms haha) and aligning the lights afterwards. Everything else was pretty straight forward, just be patient like Delorean said and you'll get it. Haha

if you guys were to read the install instructions provided on trdsparks.com you would see that the bumper does not have to be removed, all you have to do it move the front piece of the the fender splash guard to get at the area you need. makes install a breeze

Thanks man! and to everybody else for the info. I'm pretty sure you guys gave me the confidence to do it myself. I ordered them today anyway. Now i just have to wait for it to get warmer outside! lol. Tinting will be done whatever next day I have the time to...and i'll probably purchase the OEM Audio + before the summer hits. Judging from that video that they have on the install, they make it look too easy...so i'll probably do that with a friend as well.

I'll be getting the TRD lowering springs as well....but that I wouldn't even THINK about doing myself. How much would (or SHOULD) a place charge to do this? ANybody know?
