yea...not sure which section this goes so please move if needed
So I was cleaning the car the other day and noticed a rock chip on the top passenger side corner of my windsheild. it is SUPER tiny...but a rock chip is still a rock chip.
does anyone have any suggestions on fixing it? or recommended products?
I just dont want it to get worse

@maverick
yea that's not helpful for me
...plus a lot of the fwys/areas in SoCal have construction going on. meaning a good number of trucks with open backs carry around debris
@jon..
even if the chip is as small as this dot? .

I mean they have self-repair kits but I'm not sure how it would look compared to a pro job. I guess if it's not an actual crack then maybe it's something you could try. Expect to get a lot more though. Scion windshields aren't very chip resistant along with the paint.
you might want to try this place:
I remember my family going here and I think they said its like 25-50 bucks to fix if its smaller than a quarter. Good Luck

@jon...yea i know. pro job on these things is my preference over a DIY...just wondering if there is a quick fix that someone can recommend if the chip is really small.
@disaster..thanks i will definitely keep them in mind

If you want to go the really cheap route, dab a bit of crazy/superglue in it... if you want to really repair it before the winter (what 60 degrees in cali?) go with what disaster06 said...
but really, a chip the size of a penpoint.. is it that big of a deal?
Theres a rock chip repair kit at W-mart for around 10$ that I've used on a few different cars thats works decently. For a small chip it should clear it up as long as its not deep where it looks dark from the inside. I've used it on larger chips and it mostly covers it and for the past few years it hasn't grown.
hey i have same. but on driver's side. it happened last 4days ago? driving on a freeway then suddenly i heard something on my windshield. then i see a mark. when i got out i touched it , there's a chip on it. YIKES!
i ddnt do anything yet. but after reading this thread, i think i know what'll i do now...
