Red face To Scion Tc or not to Scion TC... that is the question.

I'm 26, looking to buy my 3rd car. I desperately need something and I'm looking for something I will enjoy for a long time. I've been considering the 2012 Scion TC. It's a cool looking car and has some nice features. Plus I love the trunk space... I haul around musical gear at least twice a week and something with that kind of space is what I need. I want something with style. I've been considering maybe an older BMW with some miles on it... an older 350z.. a Jeep... or a brand new Scion TC. Also I've been looking at the Veloster and Optima. $20,000 is about the top of my price range. I drove a couple 2008 TC's and really enjoyed them. So basically I'm asking you guys to help make a decision for me. Haha. I plan to get something within a week or two. Any advice? Thanks.

Stephen

If you like modding a car, it's a good choice...if you need the room and lots of fun to drive, get a Honda Fit, you'll get twice as much stuff into that than the tC.

The tC is a fun car and it has a good amount of storage space. I think It would be smarter to go with the new car because it will be reliable. Hell, If I did not need a reliable DD I would be in an e39 M5 or 3000gt VR4 right now. But as far as peace of mind goes having a new car will be the best.

And on a side note, this thread should be called, 2tCornot2tC haha

I don't like the new tC that much, I think the appearance change killed it for me. The Optima is a nice looking car to and Veloster space is a little small. I think my xA can cram more than a Veloster.

Buy an sti or wrx 5 door for performance and space. I love my tc but I'm sure that an sti is my next car.

I love my tC2. Modding it couldn't be more fun.

The Veloster is a snail for performance. If you opt for it, wait for the turbo version that is supposedly coming in 2013. Optima is butt ugly imo. You can also check on the Mazda 3 series with the 2.5L and 6 speed. The grill is ugly as sin, but the rest of the car is nice. I had a Mazda prior to the Tc, they are fun to drive and very dependable cars.
