Default Scion tC2 DRL (Canada)

Hey guys, I have a 2013 tC2 and I have HID low beams and fogs. Is there anyway I can change my DRL/high beam to HID without the light flicker? And if not, is there any way to turn of the DRL but keep high beams?

Us United States folks were actually looking into adding DRLs to our cars since we don't have them here. We looked into grabbing a Canadian DRL relay from under the hood and adding it to our fuse box under the hood, but realized that it has a different number of pins and will not work with our cars.

The good news for you is that during the process, we helped a Canadian member here figure out how to get rid of their DRL. Just remove the green DRL relay from your fuse box under the hood and you should be golden.

Thanks for the response bro but I think I tried that before and it also takes away my high beams, I could be wrong so I'll try again though. The only reason I don't want my DRL is because I have 6k HIDs in fog lights and low beams and so the pale yellow of the DRL against the nice blue of the fogs looks stupid and there's apparently no bulb I can buy for the hi/DRL that will have a white/blue hue to it.

Damn, he didn't say anything about losing functionality of his hi-beam. Let us know how it goes!

That might be an option but the DRL works by flickering the hi-beam on and off really quickly which gives the appearance of a dimmer light. My current halogens are nighthawks I think and they are supposed to be bright white with a slight blue tint but when they're on DRL they are that ____ty dull stock yellow color.
