Hey Jake, thanks for putting me in my place though. Much appreciated. Haha.
Lol, no problem. Just giving you a taste of your own medicine.

I got my filter for like $15 at AutoZone fyi

I may just grab one and pop it in right before my next service then. Avoid that extra fee.

Took some time today to clean the interior and switch back to the carpet mats for the summer. Looks way better. I also ordered a CNT racing axle back with blue tip so hopefully that will get here soon.

Washed her today, cleanest its been since last summer, nice to get all the ugly undercoating dirt off the paint. Noticed a big rock chip on the hood and a handful of smaller scratches in the clear. The rock chip is really the only bad one though. Going to have to pick up some touch up paint.

Took a quick pic but the reflection kinda ruined it.

Exactly why I got my hood deflector. For $100 from the dealer it's money well spent.

I thought about but honestly I just hate the look of them, and unless you take them off you cant even see the paint they protect so I don't really see the point. I'll just fix it up the best I can.

You'd hardly see it on black. Honestly it doesn't look as bad as I expected. Here's mine.

It is more stream lined then most. Did you have to drill any holes to install it.

No its 2 sided tape things that go on then a steel clip slips under the hood and over the plastic thing you 2 side tape on. Maybe I'll snap some pics later. Completely remove able no drill install tho.

Thanks man, being easily removable is a huge plus. I'll have to think about how much highway the car is going to see in the next little bit.

Got the axle back on. It has an awesome tone and is a bit louder then stock, still a bit quiet for my taste but if I ever get a mid pipe and header I'm sure I'll be glad i didn't go with a louder axle back. I really like the look of the burnt tip and not having the giant stock muffler under the car. Couple of pics I took today:

How come you didn't get the full catback ? $400 is a dam good price. Mine is on its way from erz shipped out today . Glad it's not too loud with stock midpipe. Should be perfect with cnt midpipe.

Didn't want to remove the cat. Won't pass inspection here without it and I was a little worried about the warranty. I know it won't hurt anything but you never know what dealerships are going to say.

Thanks man. I really wanted white but black was all that was available and the sales people told me it takes 1-3 months to get a specific one if you build your own options so I went with black because my i needed something to drive. Still I'm happy with the black, though it shows scratches way too easy.

I think a red tC2 with some nice bronze wheels would be sexy as hell though.
