Default soFlush build thread

Hey guys I've had my tC since april 2013. It's a sw '13 6 speed and I love it.
I started modding in baby steps but have now decided to go a little more extreme.

My first mod on my car was the license plate replacement.

I've enjoyed having that mod but eventually I ended up moving it back to it's original location due to already having the holes in the front of my car.

The next thing I had to have was wheels. These are enkei imolas 18x8 et40

Immediately after I had them put on, I noticed it's 4x4 height. So, I installed some TRD Springs and put on some black mirror caps to go with the car better.

My next mod was doing a rear garnish delete and removing the tC logo off the back of my car. To this day this is still my favorite mod that I've done. Also I've done a DIY shorty antenna

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was ready to get away from the whole black and white set up.
I put the white mirror caps on and took off the a-pillar vinyl for a clean white look.

Recently I had sold my enkei imolas and upgraded to these sexy wheels.
ESM 002R 18x9.5 et15

I've ordered some BC BR extreme low coilovers and will put these wheels on when they come in.
I'll be stretching these wheels with nankang ns-II's 215/35.
I'll also have to pull the fender liners and roll the fenders for more clearance.
My goal is to have an insane stanced 2nd gen tC. I am fully aware of all the choices I am making.

Future mods:
•Install coilovers/put on new wheels
•Perrin antenna 2"
•Fast release bumper (maybe)
•HID Lights w/LED multi color retrofit
•Custom seat interior

I love it so far and lucky you having all that money to dump into your car. Props to you!

Thanks man! I wanted a car I could have paid off the day I got it so I went with this. My old car was a '95 Tahoe from hell haha. Doing most of the work myself has saved me a lot of money. However, I will have my coilovers, wheels, and fender rolling professionally done so I get it right the first time. I'm having a difficult time finding the best brand of front camber bolts to use to add more neg. camber.

oh wow tons of comments haha. I'll be sure to start checking on this post more ;p

sp0t- I will man, my coilovers are in putting them on next wed. The reason being the only time off I got was next wed and the shop I'm going to will help with aligning, camber, etc.

pfdumigan- I made them myself from home depot! Just lightly sanded and painted them to match my color. Easy to put on and take off. They hold really well

kkay481- Nice! I like your set up. I soon will be running 18x9.5 et15's, maybe a 8mm spacer in the rear for more poke later on. I also replaced the red middle caps with silver ones. Looks wayyy better. I also bought some spc front camber bolts for more camber. P.S. the bc coilovers came in and they look sexyy.

ayy_jay- I bought my mirror caps from TRDsparks. However, I have taken them off since then and I can sell them. I bought them for $90, will part for $45 if wanted. NBD either way.

Again next wednesday everything will be put on, that Thursday I WILL be posting pictures haha. I'm getting my fenders rolled professionally and I'm told I'll be able to keep my fender liners. Here is a list of everything I bought if anyone is interested.

•BC BR extreme low coilovers
•ESM 002r 18x9.5et15
•Hankook Ventus V4 215/35
•SPC Front camber bolts
•Hubcentric rings 73.1mm to 60.1mm
•Muteki Lug Nuts- Deep black 12x1.5 thread

Lookin fresh bro! Have fun scraping daily! I used to be about that life until I cracked 3 oil pans from 2 different cars. I was riding static on coilovers. After the 3rd pan, I got fed up and called it quits. So im now on my 2014 tc and I'm settled with springs until I can ride on air. Sigh, I miss being low.

I do scrape A LOT lol. So far everything's good...for now ;p.
The front still has some thread left in it, the rear is slammed minus a perch. Probably will be getting 215/40 for the rear to fill in some of the wheel gap for a better fit. The ride is very comfortable, I will say my hankooks do make some noise on the highway. I had TRD Springs for 3 months and it was awful to look at lol. I'm learning my limits and over all I'm having a blast. I might raise the front so I can fit a lip kit on there but we'll see.

P.S. the rear is higher. The rear springs are the same as the regular coilover springs. BC told me that they couldn't make the springs as short as the front due to the rear suspension v shape set up. Weird stuff.
