Default Stereo Problems..

So I have a little annoying problem that I can't seem to fix.. I have a pioneer double din installed along with the steering wheel controls. Every time I flick my lights on the stereo resets and the swc stop working. The radio goes back to normal after though, I have HIDs and it didn't do it with the regular bulbs. Help ! Thanks

Ahh thanks. Lol I did the install myself , I'm MECP certified, so I'm pretty sure everything is right, went back check all the connections everything looks good. I was just wondering if anyone else ever encountered something like this.

Definitely something not wired right. I've had my Kenwood double din in for a year now and no issues. It could also be the HID wiring, is yours plugged straight into the factory harness? Try a relay harness.

I'm not saying the connections aren't "good" or "secure". It's that you're tied in to some sh.it. It's pretty obvious. Instead, I would be asking how to fix this, not if anyone else has encountered this.

Did you tap into a fuse using an add a circuit somewhere that happened to be your stereo?
