is there any 1st gen tc strut bars that wil fit the tc2??? i saw a cusco saying it will fit 2011.

i saw it on ebay saying 2006-2011 im just making sure if it fits or not so i can order or not. im looking for a strut bar for my tc2

 

i highly doubt its correct. barely anything on the 1st gen fits the 2nd gen

also CUSCO is having a 2nd group buy on the tC2 strut bar...we just need to get 10 people confirmed to make it go through

and biglilsteve is selling his because he is too stubborn to give up his takeda intake xP

 

on ebay it says megan racing 2004-2011 what do u think?? how much is he selling his strut??

 

It wont fit i guarentee it the strut bar ties together the front strut towers. The tc2 has a wider wheel base. you need 2011+ anything prior to 2010 wont work for suspension.

but yea, unless its universal...most tc parts that are from old years-2011 are typos (or sellers trying to trick you)...probably because they just update the description to the next year without actually realizing that in 2011 the tC was completely redesigned.

right away i see that there are two holes for the bolts in the braces on the ebay link...when the tC2 has 3 bolts (meaning the braces need 3 holes)

confirmed: wont fit at all

yes but the trd brace is not a full circle...meaning the it doesnt need a 3rd hole because there is no brace in that area

the megan is designed like the cusco...a full circle. so it needs to have holes for all the bolts (which is 3)

 

oh ok thanks. also is there any front lips for the tc2??

 

i think VIS racing...it might be full bumper and not lips. not sure

seibon has a CF full lip

berggs, jp usa co, and racing solutions will all have lips after they borrow my car for their r&D...i'm going to check with them on the status of the r&d this week or so

they asked me to scan my car for a 3d model...they need to figure out their scheduling and get back to me. so after that they should start their designing

Go to the "stickies" threads. There is a complete guide with links on who currently makes Gen2 front lips. Ypu could always do a HD lip like I am untill Racingsolutions quits playing with my emotions, and finaly releases their lip!
